Arthur Zepeda, owner of Home Video Studio – Visalia, traveled to Tucson, Arizona, known to the world as the “The Sunshine Factory,” from July 25th through the 30th and left with his own theme: Excellence in Video Production. Arthur won the Presidents Award Best In Show prize with his entry "My Memories." A movie created for his son, Samuel, who recently graduated from High School.
Arthur attended the Hanley Awards, Home Video Studio's version of the Oscars, which is open to international competitors and are presented to winners at the culmination of the annual Home Video Studio (HVS) Getaway in Tucson, Az. Home Video Studio is the world’s largest international video production services franchise with studios located in the United States, Canada and Sweden.
Arthur submitted his video work in several of the eighteen Hanley award categories. Besides winning Best Photo Keepsake, Cut and Paste Award for Editing, and Best Use of Post Production awards for "My Memories," his videos were also nominated in 10 categories including Dr. Strangelove” Award for Strangest or Weirdest Video, Best DVA Authoring, Best Studio Promo/Trailer, Best Memorial Video, Best Long Form Video, Best Video Production and Best Sports Video. He also won the Social Media Award.
“I was delighted that my video work was rewarded,” says Arthur, “and to be recognized as the Studio Owner of the Year from among such talented and dedicated peers is an honor and I am very humbled.”
Arthur also attended several days of intense course-work in video production and from the HVS Flight School instructed by Luisa Winters, a giant in the video production industry, in addition to being an honored guests at the gala black-tie Hanley Awards ceremony.
HVS studio owners provide at least 27 different types of professional video services. Some of those services include Video to the Cloud and DVD transfers, photo/video montage keepsakes, home movie transfers, DVD/CD duplication, video editing, slide transfer services, Audio tape transfers and sports or music scholarship videos.
