Sure, it’s easy to find slashing, gory, hands-over-your-eyes movies for Halloween, but we’re family friendly! Here are a few Halloween movies that are fun for the season, but won’t keep the kids awake all night. 

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown - Because every generation needs to experience Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, and all the gang for every holiday. 

Ernest Scared Stupid - Ernest is always just silly fun. This time he accidentally sets loose trolls, on Halloween, who turn children into wooden dolls. Now he must save his town. 

The Addams Family - Because, like Charlie Brown, every generation needs to experience Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, and all the gang – and Halloween is the perfect occasion. 

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit - If your kids have never experienced the Claymation inventor Wallace and his dog Gromit they’ll love this one. They rescue a village plagued by a mutant rabbit and save the annual vegetable competition. 

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad – A 1949 adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, it’s a Walt Disney classic that every kid should see.
